Using Jigsaw Friends

These terms govern your use of the Jigsaw Friends game, website, and related account and community services operated by Eric Mwenda. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Questions can be sent to mwendaenrique5@gmail.com.

The game is in development. Features may be limited, changed, or unavailable during testing. A preview, screenshot, or description is not a guarantee of a particular release date, platform, or feature’s availability.

02

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live, to use account and community features. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, use the service with permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.

Keep your linked sign-in account and device secure, provide accurate information when needed, and do not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may start as a guest. An unlinked guest account may be impossible to recover after losing its device credentials, reinstalling, signing out, or expiry. Link an available sign-in method to improve recoverability. A provider connection does not guarantee access if the provider restricts or closes your account.

03

Playing and saving

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive permission to use Jigsaw Friends for its intended purposes, subject to these terms. We retain rights in the game software, branding, interface, and our own materials.

Some functions need an internet connection. Saves, uploads, and synchronisation can be delayed or fail. Keep separate copies of pictures you care about; the game is not an archival photo-storage service. Storage, upload, and technical limits may apply and may change as the service develops.

Completion and engagement counts are game features, not a guarantee of verified human play, a prize entitlement, or a competitive ranking.

04

Your pictures remain yours

You keep ownership of the content you upload. Upload only content you own or have permission to use and share, including any necessary permissions for people shown in a picture.

You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, crop, format, and display your content as needed to operate the features you choose. If you share a puzzle or collection, this includes delivering it to its permitted audience and enabling those people to solve it. This licence does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated sale of your pictures.

The licence lasts while the content is available through your account, with limited continuation for restricted backups, legal obligations, or processing already required to remove it. Other people’s existing copies cannot always be recalled. Making content public does not give other users ownership of it or permission to sell or repost it elsewhere.

05

Share thoughtfully

Use the service respectfully. Do not:

  • Upload illegal content, sexual exploitation or abuse material, threats, targeted harassment, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people.
  • Share intimate images without consent, expose someone’s private information, or upload confidential documents or personal data you are not authorised to share.
  • Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights; impersonate people; mislead players; or send spam.
  • Upload malware, abuse uploads or APIs, bypass access controls or moderation, scrape private data, disrupt the service, or manipulate engagement or solve counts.

Use in-game reporting, blocking, and muting where available. You can also report content or a rights concern to our support email. Include the puzzle link or handle and a clear description; avoid forwarding harmful material unnecessarily.

06

Content review and account restrictions

Submitted public content may be reviewed before it appears. We may decline publication, limit visibility, remove content, or restrict an account to enforce these terms, protect people and the service, or meet legal requirements. Review does not guarantee that all content is accurate, safe, lawful, or suitable for everyone.

Where practical and appropriate, we will explain a restriction. You can contact support with the affected handle or content link to ask for a review. Immediate action may be needed for serious abuse or security issues.

07

Privacy and other services

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we process and your choices. You choose whether to share pictures and profile information; public or unlisted content may be copied by its recipients.

Google, Apple, Facebook, app stores, and other external services have their own terms and policies. Their branding does not imply that they sponsor or endorse Jigsaw Friends. We do not control their availability or decisions.

This website does not sell subscriptions or accept payments. Any future paid offering will present its price and applicable terms before purchase.

08

Leaving the service

You can stop using the service at any time. To remove your account and associated server data, use the in-game deletion control or the email process on our Account deletion page. Signing out, uninstalling, or removing a provider connection is not the same as deleting the account.

We may discontinue features or the service. When practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation so you can take appropriate action. Security issues or legal requirements may require faster changes.

09

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a reliable, enjoyable game, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of shared content, or compatibility with every device. To the extent permitted by law, the development service is provided as available, without additional warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer rights, or removes any statutory warranty or remedy that applies to you.

10

Changes and resolving concerns

We may update these terms as the service evolves and will update the date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice. If you do not accept revised terms, you can stop using the service and request account deletion.

Please contact mwendaenrique5@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not require arbitration or prevent you from using courts, regulators, or remedies available under applicable law.

Let’s keep it clear.

If you have a question about this page, write to mwendaenrique5@gmail.com.
